Hello Bobcat Families,

It is crazy to think how fast our year has gone, and that it is already time to start thinking about Summer School. Registration has begun for the Mehlville School District’s 2018 Summer Academy and Summer Acceleration programs for elementary, middle and high school students. The four week, full day programs run from Monday, June 4th through Friday, June 29th. There is an important change this year—students will be assigned to the grade they are entering in August instead of the grade they just completed. This will give students vital exposure to the coursework and expectations they will experience during the 2018-2019 school year.

The host schools this year are Bierbaum and Blades for elementary school students, Bernard for middle school students and Mehlville High for high school students. The elementary and middle school GRATE Summer Academy program hours are 8am until 3pm. The high school Summer Acceleration program will have sessions from 7:30am until 10:30am and 11am until 2pm. Transportation will be provided to and from the students’ regular home schools and their summer school buildings. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the regular school year prices.

For more summer school information and the enrollment forms, please visit the Mehlville School District website and click on the Summer Academy link.
